About AHN
AHN Förbundet is the coordinating organisation for six non-profit Hispano-Nordic associations on the Costa del Sol and Costa Tropical.

Founded in 1968, AHN today brings together more than 6,000 Nordic members in southern Spain.
Through our six local associations, AHN creates a strong Nordic community and coordinates member benefits, activities, services and partnerships with selected companies and organisations.
AHN Förbundet — La Asociación Hispano Nórdica Federal — was founded in 1968 by Prince Carl Bernadotte on the Costa del Sol as a non-profit for Nordics. It is now the largest Nordic community in southern Spain.
The federation coordinates shared member benefits, partnerships and contracts. Each local club keeps its independence and its activities. The president is Michael Emdenborg, elected at the board meeting of 19 March 2025.
The six local associations promote sporting and social activities to improve the quality of life of members. Everyone is welcome, regardless of political or religious belief.
Membership is arranged through the local associations — you cannot join AHN Förbundet directly. The yearly fee usually ranges from €20 to €40, depending on the club and its programme. A digital membership card is issued, often within minutes.

AHN Förbundet is a non-profit organisation. Our interest is not to act as a financial intermediary or sales channel. Instead, we seek strategic partnerships that can provide value to our members through exclusive benefits, educational seminars, sponsorships, marketing support, or donations that help support our non-profit activities and community services throughout Spain.
